FOODTANK empowers smallholder farmers, pastoralists, and Indigenous communities 60% of whom are women and youth to adopt climate-smart agriculture, innovative technologies, sustainable food production, value addition, and market linkages, improving food security, productivity, and household incomes.

Program Overview

FOODTANK works with smallholder farmers, particularly women and youth, to improve community health and strengthen economic and business opportunities by providing health education, entrepreneurship and financial literacy training, climate-smart farming support, access to markets and business linkages, and practical skills for value addition. The program responds to health, income, food security, and livelihood challenges, enabling communities to build sustainable businesses, increase household incomes, improve nutrition and health outcomes, create employment opportunities, and become more resilient.
