<p><strong>Demitila Faustine</strong> is a Tanzanian development practitioner, community leader, and Executive Director of <strong>FOODTANK Organization</strong>, with over eight years of experience in community development, program leadership, women and youth empowerment, and livelihoods. She began her journey with WoteSawa Domestic Workers Organization, progressing from an empowerment role to <strong>Head of Programs</strong>, where she gained strong expertise in program design and management, advocacy, partnerships, community engagement, and capacity building. Her direct experience working with farmers and vulnerable communities exposed her to challenges around food security, climate change, and limited economic opportunities, inspiring her to establish FOODTANK. Today, she combines her experience in community empowerment, entrepreneurship, agriculture, and program leadership to drive <strong>community-led solutions that strengthen food systems, climate resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and economic opportunities for farmers, pastoralists, Indigenous communities, women, and youth.</strong></p>
